Breathless CryLying in bed she gasps for air  Her heart pounding in her chest  She tries to take a deep breath  But she starts to suffocate  She gasps for air again  As frustration flows from her body  She shuts her eyes tight  Hoping to wake from a nightmare  But she feels herself yearning to breathe  She opens her eyes  As a tear falls down her cheek  All she can see is darkness  She cries out for help  But no one can hear her Breathless Cry
